I am just a simple 21 year old guy, living in Singapore, who is trying to achieve financial freedom before the age of 35.
I am writing this blogspot in order to track my portfolio and knowledge that I have learnt over the years. Also, I hope that my blog will inspire readers to start their own investing journey in order to achieve financial freedom as quickly as possible.
In my opinion, there is no hard and fast rule to successful investing.
There are people who have profited from short term trading and likewise, there are people who have profited from long term investing. Over the years, I have came to a conclusion that in order to succeed in investing, one should always follow religiously to a system that suits his/her personality.
For me, I subscribe to Warren Buffett's style of Investing; buying quality companies for "fifty cents on the dollar" and holding them for the long term. This method of investing allows the power of compounding to kick in and generate wealth for the shareholders of the companies.
Of course, not everyone will agree with this method of investing. Different people have different personalities and I urge each and everyone of you to find your own philosophy towards investing.
